The Welcome Reception marks the informal start of the CIECA Congress and takes place in the lobby of the Maritim Hotel Dresden. The spacious interior and distinctive architecture provide a welcoming setting to arrive and settle in after the journey.

The evening cruise aboard the historic paddle steamer Gräfin Cosel offers a relaxed and convivial setting within the CIECA community. The route leads upriver toward Pillnitz, revealing views of Dresden’s riverbanks, historic villas, and the surrounding landscape.
A live Dixieland band accompanies the journey, while a seated dinner is served in the ship’s salon with large panoramic windows overlooking the Elbe.
The event offers a pleasant setting for informal exchange while enjoying Dresden from the river.

The Gala Dinner takes place in the Kleiner Schlosshof of Dresden’s Royal Palace and marks the festive conclusion of the congress. The baroque courtyard provides an impressive architectural backdrop for an elegant evening.
Guests are welcomed to a seated gala dinner, accompanied by a curated stage programme offering cultural highlights. A historical reenactor portraying August the Strong greets participants and offers insights into the site’s rich history.
