Immerse yourself in Dresden’s architectural heritage, technical history, and cultural highlights.

The programme begins at 09:30 with a classic two-hour city sightseeing tour through Dresden. Guests experience the city’s magnificent baroque skyline, elegant boulevards, and historic landmarks that have earned Dresden its reputation as the »Florence on the Elbe«.

Following the panoramic tour, a themed guided walk explores Dresden’s innovative spirit with a focus on automobiles, transportation, and technological development. This guided experience highlights the city’s long-standing connection to mobility and engineering.

At midday, guests enjoy a lunch break in Dresden’s Old Town. Numerous cafés and restaurants are available for individual dining (lunch at own expense).

The afternoon is dedicated to a visit to the Dresden Transport Museum, located in the historic Johanneum on Neumarkt Square. The museum offers a fascinating journey through the history of mobility, featuring railways, aviation, shipping, and automotive development in an engaging and accessible format.

The programme concludes at approximately 15:00.

At 09:30, the excursion to Saxon Switzerland National Park begins. Accompanied by a professional local guide, guests travel into one of Germany’s most spectacular natural regions, shaped by dramatic sandstone formations and breathtaking views of the Elbe Valley.

The morning is dedicated to the iconic Bastei, where guests enjoy guided explanations and panoramic viewpoints high above the river. The unique rock formations and sweeping vistas make this one of the most famous natural landmarks in the region.

A lunch break takes place at Fortress Königstein, where guests may dine individually in the fortress restaurants (lunch at own expense) while enjoying the impressive historical surroundings.

The afternoon features a comprehensive guided visit to Fortress Königstein, one of Europe’s largest hilltop fortresses. Guests learn about its military, political, and architectural significance across several centuries.

The programme ends at approximately 15:30.

Guests explore Albrechtsburg Castle, Germany’s oldest residential castle, or choose a combined visit including the renowned Meissen Porcelain Manufactory, offering exclusive insights into traditional craftsmanship.

At midday, guests enjoy a group lunch in Meissen, served in a local restaurant and included in the programme.

In the afternoon, the programme continues to Schloss Wackerbarth, an elegant baroque estate known for its long-standing wine and sparkling wine tradition. Guests experience Saxon wine culture through guided tastings, vineyard walks, and insights into the region’s winemaking heritage.
